Bird Feb 22 2024 1:09 pm As mentioned below, this guy is a chameleon. He totally absorbs his roles to the extent that you wouldn't even know it's him until the credits. I only know of one other actor who has pulled this off, and I am talking Western movie/cinema, inclusive.

He is a treasure.

He gets the job done whether he is playing as the good guy (Homcha's Oh Chun Jae/OhYoon) or a bad guy (the backstabbing Wusang CEO, a father who went on a killing spree when his daughter died, the gang leader, and others). His roles are memorable (and usually comical), whether it's just a cameo (Sweet and Sour) or as a recurring character.

He is a chameleon. This year, he is part of TVN's biggest weekend dramas, and he has effortlessly shifted from a crooked CEO to a cafe owner/singer to a park ranger. Oh, and it took me days to realize that it was a cross-dressed JHC who was dancing to Amor Fati with the other Jirisan rangers. Hilarious!

tncdel May 05 2017 6:15 pm After I posted my earlier comment today, I re-watched the Great Seer episode I mentioned. And although it does contain a decent sword fighting scene, I realized that it wasn't the scene that impressed me as much. That was earlier in the drama, but I don't recall the episode's number. If you're curious, watch the Great Seer in its entirety, if you haven't already done so. And I guarantee you that the two-sword performance by Jo Han-Chul will impress you too.

tncdel May 05 2017 4:58 pm This guy did one of the best sword fighting scenes, using two swords at once, in the 24th episode of The Great Seer. Note that I have watched well over a hundred Korean dramas, including dozens of historical dramas with swordfighting.
